Hinton Festival opened in style on Saturday 4th June with Abba’s Angels encouraging villagers to dance the night away.
Broadband has great potential for improving our lives – it can put us in touch with the world at the touch of a button, it can enable us to work from home (playing in to the green agenda), order our shopping, manage our finances, we could even use it instead of TV (as long as you have a valid license).
We have kept a wide selection of the apple trees, including some rarer varieties to create out very own Jubilee Orchard at the far end of the site.
Needless to say, our of selling trees are now over.
Coming Soon – we will be publishing details of Family Flix, to be shown in the village (why is it that the oldies always get all the fun 😉 , Until we work out where to put this information, check out new stuff.
A good time was had by all, a crowd of families gathered, thanks to the efforts of Will Batemen, and a high quality product was produced and enjoyed by the Juicers.
Watch this space for future juicing days and other Jubilee Wood events.
P.S. don’t forget to pick up your Apple Day quiz from the pub or from Our Shop.
